Thomas de Morle held a half knight's fee in Abefeld and Soreel, Ewelm Hundred, Oxfordshire in 1346 [Feudal Aids, vol. iv, p. 176]. These lands were held in 1428 by the heirs of John Symeon [ibid., p. 193]. John Fetypace also held in 1428 lands in Nethercote previously held by Thomas Morley [ibid., p. 192]. Nethercote, par. Lewknor and other lands were jointly held before 1386 by Isabel Symeon and Richard Morle "sometime her husband", with remainder to the heirs of Richard. Isabel died circa 1386, and Richard died before this. Richard's son Robert Morle, of full age, was found to be the heir [Cal. Fine Rolls, vol. 10, p. 161].
